With a modern air conditioned coach to Lake Argyle and a very comfortable cruise boat ride back along the Ord River to Kununurra. The tour operator was most informative and helpful with lots of relevant information along the way, just wish I could remember it al!. The cruise was one of the best ever with an absolutely stunning sunset near the finish. Would recommend this tour to anybody coming anywhere near Kununurra.

We did the Ord River cruise to the Argyle dam wall and return. What a fantastic day with a very informative guide. Simply beautiful scenery and bird life. Food was excellent and ended with a fantastic sunset. Would recommend this highly.

From pick up at your accommodation to drop off at the end of your visit - wow! The people who run this experience are exceptional. We learned lots saw beautiful scenery and shy creatures thanks to the eagle eyes of our guide Grant. He prepared a yummy lunch as well. Thanks for a wonderful highlight to our trip guys. RECOMMENDED THOROUGHLY!

Below Lake Argyle Resort lookout, we crossed the Ord Top Dam wall. Past the hydro power station, before boarding the Triple J boat for the 55km cruise back down through some spectacular river country.
Our driver and guide 'Jeff'' stopped frequently to show & explain the flora and fauna in each area. Plenty of fresh water crocodiles and abundant birdlife. Fantastic afternoon tea, served in their secluded river camp and then watching the sun set and the light dwindle as we made our way into Kununurra - magic. One of the main highlights of our trip.

Highest recommendations for the Ord River Day Tour! Our skipper Dylan had an eagle eye for spotting the wildlife and kept us entertained and informed with his amazing knowledge of the wildlife, the history and his love of the area; whilst still allowing us plenty of down time to enjoy the awesome sights and serenity of the cruise. We enjoyed a fresh and delicious afternoon tea (mmmmnn pumpkin scones ) before watching the sun set over the lake. Take a jacket for the trip home as it can get a bit chilly, then kick back and enjoy the ride.

Fantastic day tour of the Ord river and Lake Kununurra, lots of flora and fauna, the most beautiful scenery, with a well-informed guide (Grant), lunch at the riverside camp (sumptuous, plenty of salads cold meat, cheese bikkies etc, cold drinks, hot tea and coffee - best picnic type lunch ever), ending at the dam, bus trip back to town via Lake Argyle township and the Durack homestead museum.

Tour J3, what a trip, thanks Jeff, we had a ball. Been nearly two years since the trip and we talk about it still today. Organising another with more people. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Everyone NEEDS to do this. OUTSTANDING.

Don’t miss this outstanding boattrip on Ord River with this brilliant crew of JJJ. Wildlife gets presented in its natural environment and guided by a skipper who is really into it. Thank you so much Dylan, listening to you was a georgious entertainment and incredible interesting. Learn about this fantastic project in Kunnunurra where mankind put hands onto nature, what turns out usually unsatisfying, but not in Kunnunurra. Thanks for this lesson too. This trip will be unforgetable for me!

I would recommend touring with Triple J Tours as their service is second to none. The boat is fantastic with comfortable seats and a good viewing platform. The commentary was expert and informative. The amount of wildlife spotted and morning tea was sensational. A personal item left on the bus was quickly returned to me in Broome which was a tribute to their efficiency and quality of service. Thank you Triple J once again.
